Welcome to WasiBuy.com (“Marketplace”), operated by BIGTIFY (PRIVATE) LIMITED (“we”, “us”, “our”).

WasiBuy is a multi-vendor marketplace where approved vendors can sell products directly to customers within Sri Lanka.

By using this website, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.


1. Eligibility

Only users from Sri Lanka are allowed to register as vendors on WasiBuy.com.


2. Account Types

During registration:

  • Customers must select “Customer Account”
  • Sellers must select “Vendor Account”

Incorrect account selection may result in account deletion.


3. Vendor Registration & Verification

To register as a vendor, users must provide:

  • Store name
  • Valid address in Sri Lanka
  • Correct phone number

After registration:

  • Vendors must wait for a verification call from BIGTIFY (PRIVATE) LIMITED
  • If the phone number is incorrect or the vendor does not answer verification calls, the account may be deleted within 14 days

4. Vendor Responsibilities

Vendors are fully responsible for:

  • Product listings and descriptions
  • Pricing accuracy
  • Product information
  • Stock availability
  • Compliance with applicable laws
  • Customer communication
  • Warranty and after-sales support

If a Cash on Delivery (COD) order fails due to customer rejection, incorrect customer details, unreachable customer, or failed delivery attempts, the vendor may be charged applicable fees.


5. Product Listing & Advanced Features

All products must be submitted for review before publishing.

For advanced product features including:

  • Product brand
  • Product category
  • Product variations (colors, sizes, etc.)

vendors must contact BIGTIFY (PRIVATE) LIMITED directly.

We reserve the right to:

  • Approve products
  • Remove or permanently delete products without prior notice
  • Delete vendor accounts if necessary

If a vendor uploads or attempts to upload a large number of products, BIGTIFY (PRIVATE) LIMITED may:

  • Apply additional service charges
  • Require a monthly vendor subscription or maintenance fee

Additional fees may depend on the number of uploaded products

If a product violates our policies or is considered unsuitable for the platform, it may be removed immediately.


6. Prohibited Products

The following products are strictly prohibited:

  • illegal products
  • Fake branded products
  • Stolen items
  • Dangerous or restricted products
  • Products violating intellectual property rights

7. Vendor Dashboard

Vendors manage their stores through:

wasibuy.com/dashboard

Vendors must:

  • Maintain accurate store information
  • Add valid bank account details for withdrawals
  • Add their own store terms and conditions where applicable

8. Commission & Fees

For every completed order:

  • 15% commission will be deducted from vendor earnings

9. Withdrawals

  • Minimum withdrawal amount: රු 100
  • Withdrawal processing fee: රු 25 per request

Withdrawals are processed to the vendor’s provided bank account.


10. Orders & Delivery

We deliver products only within Sri Lanka using our partner courier services.

Delivery times depend on:

  • Customer location
  • Courier availability
  • Weather conditions
  • Other external factors

While we aim to deliver promptly, delays may occur beyond our control.

For Cash on Delivery (COD) orders:

  • Both order value and delivery charges must be paid to the courier upon delivery.

For online payments:

  • Delivery charges must be paid directly to the courier at delivery.

11. Refunds, Returns & Exchanges

All sales are final.

We do not offer refunds, returns, or exchanges after payment is completed.

Customers are responsible for reviewing order details carefully before confirming purchases.


If a customer receives:

  • A damaged item, or
  • An incorrect item

the customer must contact the vendor directly within 3 days of delivery with:

  • Order number
  • Clear photos of the issue

Customers should remain in direct contact with the vendor regarding product issues, warranties, exchanges, returns, or related support matters.

BIGTIFY (PRIVATE) LIMITED may review the issue and assist in arranging delivery where applicable.


12. Product Warranty & Vendor Responsibility

Product warranties, guarantees, exchanges, and after-sales services are the responsibility of the respective vendor according to the vendor’s own store terms and conditions.

BIGTIFY (PRIVATE) LIMITED is not responsible for:

  • Product warranties
  • Warranty claims
  • Product quality guarantees
  • Vendor promises or policies

If a return, exchange, or warranty-related delivery is required, the vendor must contact us to arrange courier handling where applicable.


13. Order Cancellation

Orders cannot be cancelled once payment has been completed except in special cases such as:

  • Product unavailability
  • Pricing errors
  • Suspected fraud or misuse

If an order is cancelled, customers will be notified as soon as possible.

Whether a refund is provided will be decided solely by BIGTIFY (PRIVATE) LIMITED based on the situation.


14. Payments

All prices on WasiBuy.com are listed in Sri Lankan Rupees (රු).

Payments are securely processed through PayHere (Private) Limited.

BIGTIFY (PRIVATE) LIMITED does not store or access customer payment card details.


15. Intellectual Property

Some text, images, logos, graphics, and website designs on WasiBuy.com belong to BIGTIFY (PRIVATE) LIMITED.

Some images or materials may come from free, licensed, or third-party sources.

Copying, reproducing, modifying, or reusing website content without permission is prohibited.


16. Platform Availability & Liability

We aim to provide accurate information and reliable service, but we do not guarantee that the website will always be error-free, uninterrupted, or continuously available.

BIGTIFY (PRIVATE) LIMITED is not responsible for losses, damages, delays, or issues caused by:

  • Courier services
  • Internet or network failures
  • Payment gateway interruptions
  • Third-party services
  • External events beyond our control

17. Third-Party Services

We use third-party providers including PayHere (Private) Limited for payment processing and related services.

We are not responsible for how third-party services operate or handle user data.

Users should review the respective policies and terms of those providers separately.


18. Account & Product Deletion

We may immediately remove products or permanently delete accounts without prior notice if:

  • False information is provided
  • Vendor verification fails
  • Prohibited products are listed
  • Fraud, abuse, or misuse is suspected
  • Any WasiBuy policy is violated

Actions may include:

  • Permanent product removal
  • Immediate account deletion
  • Permanent loss of platform access

19. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.

The latest version will always be available on this page together with the effective date.


20. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka.
